Further Information:  FIVE FILMS gives filmmakers an exciting opportunity to produce 5 x 3 minute topical news films, from a fresh perspective, using the documentary medium in innovative ways, and have them broadcast on Five News in December 2006. Short-listed applicants will pitch to a panel of producers and news editors from DFG Films and Five News, at the Sheffield Doc-fest Newcomers Day

Govynn Kernewek Award 2006

Further Information:  The Criteria for the 2006 Govynn Kernewek Award are: 10 minute film in any genre using the Cornish language; Application must come from existing Cornish film makers (ie some track record of film making in Cornwall); The film must be based around the theme of, and titled: An Jowl Yn Agas Kegin (The Devil In Your Kitchen)   You must be able to finish the film by 31 May 2007
